From your base at Namsentunet we offer you to explore the fantastic wilderness and forests in the area. It is possible to hunt both big and small game, and the hunt is conducted according to Norwegian tradition, with or without a dog. The products we can guarantee are moose hunting, grouse hunting and forest bird hunting. For safety reasons, all customers who want to hunt at Namsentunet must go through a shooting test on both a rifle and shotgun range. Namsentunet also rents weapons on request. Weapons cabinets are available at the lodge.
Every day starts with a breakfast buffet at Namsentunet, where we go through the day's hunting plans. Lunch is prepared by the guides out in the field. The day ends with a nice dinner in Namsentunet's restaurant.
Viking Challenge
One of our products is called "The Viking Challenge". A challenge created on similar lines to the famous Macnab Challenge, but where our challenge consists of moose, grouse and trout. The challenge is based on 3 days of hunting and fishing, and 4 overnight stays. During these days you will hunt elk, grouse and catch a brown trout. Namsentunet's guides will take you on to the next hunting destination when a species is hunted. If you complete the challenge, you will receive a statue and a diploma, as well as honor, glory and a place in Namsentunet's "Hall of Fame". This type of hunting product suits the individual hunter as well as larger groups.
