River Bank Fishing
Sesong: 1. juni til 31. august
We offer 3 rotations of riverbank fishing. Our guide and ghillie service is included for 2 hours per day per fisherman. Our guide and ghillies service is open for 8 hours for a typical group of 4 persons. Our boatman can take you to the best fishing pools, where you will rotate between both banks on the Upper, Lower, Middle Namsen & Sanddøla Rivers. Accommodation can either be in a single or double room with prices that are based on half board-breakfast and two-course dinner.
Guests typically stay for 4 nights (3 fishing days) or 7 nights (6 fishing days). Salmon smoking takes up to 5 days and so if you want to take your smoked catch home, please consider the time it takes to smoke your fish.
River Boat Fishing
Season: 1st June to 31 August
We offer a 2 people (couple) a combination of riverbank fishing and boat fishing (harling) from our traditional wooden boats. You will have your own Namsen riverboat With three fishing rods available to you 24 hours a day comprising 3 boat rods and 1 riverbank rod. Our guide is available for 8 hours per day. Guests can choose to stay in Namsentunet or our historic Holandsøya Farmhouse. Accommodation will be in a double room with prices that are based on half board-breakfast and two-course dinner.

Fishing rules
Everyone is required to follow the Namsen River Basin's regulations and is personally responsible for having read the rules.
Ground fishing is restricted after July 4. In July, there will also be any internal rules for Namsentunet, according to the mid-term evaluation by the Namsen Watershed Landowners' Association, the Norwegian Environment Directorate and other government bodies.
